The house name is Casa Rana, El Pescadero Baja Sur and if you search Google Maps you will see it, or click here for the Google Maps link

Important things to know about Casa Rana:

  • Wifi is Casa Rana Network and frooogyfun is the password (may be capital F)

  • Water is a very precious commodity, please don't take extra long showers or leave taps running ;)

  • Please be careful running around the pool as it can get slick - no glass around the pool please :)

  • Please make sure  AC units are turned off when not being used and close doors if units are being used. (Mexico has an electric threshold and if you hit it you are therefore forever at a premium rate!)

  • Swimmable beach is Cerritos Beach about a 5 min drive south (there are restaurants, surfing etc...)

  • Closest hospital is St Judes in Todos Santos or in an emergency that a local hospital can't handle only go to H+ in Cabo

  • There is a full house filtration system so ok to brush teeth etc but for drinking we would suggest bottled water just to be safe

  • Closest local supermarket is Agricole between Pescadero and Todos Santos


Where to eat and things to do  (all restaurants are basically outdoors)

From the airport to El Pescadero is about 1 hour (about $5.00 cash only – they take American money everywhere) - don't forget cash for the toll roads each way

El Pescadero 

  • Hierbabuerna – Farm to table open 1pm – 9pm – closed  Tuesdays $ Hierbabuena IG 

  • Coyote – Good atmosphere nice for a drink $$

  • Pizza –Pescadero 62 great for Take out or eat in –  $

  • Baja Beans – Great coffee and lunch spot $

  • Mas Olas at Kimpton IG $$$$$ 

Cerritos (5 minutes south of Pescadero)

  • Barracuda – Best tacos and surfer burritos in the area open 12pm – 8pm – closed Wednesdays 

  • Same Same Different – Cool breakfast place, good coffee and light lunch / brunch $

  • Shakas “sports bar” - open daily at 11:00am - great tacos (pork belly is the best) burgers and fries $

 

Todos Santos (12 minutes north of Pescadero)

  • Dume – Contemporary – very cool setting open 1pm – 9:30pm closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays (reservations suggested) $$$ - fancy

  • Doce Cuarenta – Great for coffee, pastries and lunch $

  • El Mirador – Best place for lunch and view $$

  • Il Giordino – Great Italian – amazing views $$

  • Pescaderia locals taco and fish place – cheap and cheerful / CASH ONLY – Opposite St Judes) $

  • Carnitas Miquel - CASH ONLY amazing for lunch - cheap

Other

  • Green Room – High end beach front bar and restaurant 1pm – 9pm daily (reservations suggested) The Green Room BCS IG really worth checking out best for lunch as it is about a 25 minute drive

  • Pacific Fish Company Las Tunas

  • Check out La Copa for adults - lovely wine bar in Todos Santos
